At the centre of this pillar is our foundation food delivery program currently providing over 280 meals per week. These meals are prepared by our local restaurants, café, and providores and then delivered by our team of volunteers. It perfectly represents out ethos of taking the power of our community to benefits others within our neighbourhood. We are also in the early stages of our community garden program, a Good Deeds program to provide support typically given by family members and friends, and also exploring other regular activities to provide social interaction opportunities for our customers.
Fundraising and Awareness
We create events that aim to either raise funds for our Give Back program, or are specifically targeted at improving community engagement and inclusiveness. Or both of course! These include such things as Mother and Fathers’ Day lunches, Christmas events for all, community walking programs, tea with friends, and potentially a monthly dinner with a guest event. Furthermore, we are creating a Good Food program to enable children and parents to work together to prepare meals whilst honing their skills under the supervision of a qualified chef. All meals are then delivered to our local recipients.
Give Back Program
We distribute our profits to existing charity bodies who specialise in addressing the issues we care most about within our neighbourhood. Our 2023 charity selection is not yet finalised.
